New Wonder Woman Game Trailer Gives You The Chance To Be Part Of DC’s Trinity
Warner Bros. Games By Jeremy Mathai/Dec. 10, 2021 10:36 am EST
“You are a hero … but you can be more.” Fans have long awaited the very first “Wonder Woman” video game, a development that has been long overdue given the character’s widespread popularity. DC video games tend to focus almost exclusively on Batman to a fault, but WB Games has recently branched out with the addition of “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League,” which we received a new trailer for during DC’s FanDome Event in October, and even a new crossover fighting game titled “MultiVersus.” Thanks to last night’s 2021 Game Awards ceremony (in movie terms, think Comic-Con meets the Oscars, basically), we received our first brief look at the powerful title character of “Wonder Woman” in action. You can watch the announcement trailer below.

David Hewitt of Monolith Productions released a statement about their goals for “Wonder Woman” and the use of the game-changing (literally!) Nemesis System, saying:
No release date was given, but DC’s announcement of this game proves fitting as DC is celebrating Wonder Woman’s 80th anniversary this year. Stay tuned for more details as they come in.
“At Monolith Productions, we believe in the power of player-driven storytelling to unite people. The stories our players share inspire us every day, and we are honored to take players on a unique personal journey, driven by the values embodied in Wonder Woman. The Nemesis System raised the bar for player-driven storytelling and we’re excited to push the open-world genre forward, combining cutting-edge action with inventive narratives to create a Wonder Woman game everyone will want to play.”
